Halloween is around the corner, which means time is ticking on costume preparation. In years past I’ve always found so much pleasure in creating costumes and not having the same exact costume as someone else. Yawn. Now that I’ve been out of college for a few years and grown out of the “wear a bra covered in fabric as a costume”, I’ve found different ways to get creative with my costume curating. If you’re interested in a cute and creative Halloween costume but don’t want to whip out the sewing machine, check out these 3 unique costumes that are minimal effort but sure to get you compliments on All Hallows’ Eve.
Glinda the Good Witch – when I saw this dress on ASOS I immediately thought it’d be perfect for this look. Luckily, if you’re a procrastinator, ASOS has express 2 day shipping so you can get it in time for Halloween parties next weekend. Pair it with a tiara, wand and some Kylie Jenner pigmented highlighter and you’re good to go.
Bad & Boujee Album Cover – One of the most popular songs of 2017, this costume will surely be loved. It’s ridiculously easy and the red dress I’ve linked is on sale! Finish it off with a Ramen accessory (make it into a purse if you’re feeling crafty!) and you’ll be posting “rain drop, drop top” on your insta in no time.
Witchy Witch – A true Halloween classic, this black and orange outfit can totally be worn separately once Halloween is over. Top it with a Witch hat and that’s it! I’m planning on wearing this to work on Halloween with a black tank and sweater twin set instead of the tube top lol!
